Special Education / Float / Substitute Position

Job Title   Special Education Teacher, Float / Substitute Position Reports To Executive Director, Principal Supervises Paraprofessional Staff Status Full-Time, Exempt and Part-Time Non-Exempt positions available   START DATE :

• 2024-2025 school year    Duties and Responsibilities    Be available daily for substitute teaching in the building.
• The ability to cover classes at all grade and program levels.
• Execute lesson plans consistent with the teacher’s guidelines, and school curriculum.
• Create and maintain a discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and productive learning environment in accordance with school policies and with an understanding of how it relates to special education students.
• Demonstrates familiarity with technology.
• Take attendance according to school procedure.
