Job Description

Job Title : Java Architect

Location : Tempe AZ

Duration : 6 Plus Months

W2 candidates only

Required Qualifications :

Years of experience 10+ years of IT industry experience, at least 5 years in architecture
Domain knowledge : Knowledge of financial / banking industry in applications related to lending is a must. Preference will be given if the candidate has worked in equipment finance, capital finance areas.
Technical Knowledge - Java technology, Messaging technology (MQ), SOA / web services, Integration technologies, ETL software.
Documentation Skills System Architecture documents, architecture and design diagrams, UML diagrams, Visio, Microsoft Office
Good communication and analysis skills.

Responsibilities :

Participates in the design and development of business and system architectures. Responsible for working on highly complex architectural impact projects and directing the implementation of the architecture for a single or multiple applications or system components. Prepare target architecture and roadmap to implement the target architecture.

Provides technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture. Studies interfaces with different applications and suggests integration technologies.

Acts as a technical expert on the design and development of highly complex, large-scale internet, intranet, and backend applications on Unix / Linux / Windows platforms, crossing multiple business lines.

Uses expert knowledge of web technologies, including Java, messaging applications, database modeling tools, and / or database interactions.

Researches and tracks new technologies, developing applications, and recommends integration technology for different interfaces.
