Your role will include hammering pieces together with metal plates, ensuring security with industrial rollers, and moving completed materials.

Responsibilities

• Work in teams of 3-4 to assemble trusses.
• Handle pre-cut wood and load it into the laser system.
• Match the cut of wood to the outline of the truss.
• Hammer pieces together with metal plates.
• Use industrial rollers to secure trusses.
• Turn over, plate together, and roll trusses for security.
• Move completed materials to designated areas.

Work Environment

This is a first shift position from Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm, with optional Saturday shifts from 6 : 00 am to 11 : 00 am. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor conditions in a lumber-style yard, being part of a leading supplier of trusses and lumber in the area. Multiple new facility builds and site expansions are underway.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Millbury, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
