Position Responsibilities :
- Manage, mentor and motivate a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
- Set clear performance objectives and ensure the team’s adherence to sales strategies and company policies.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies, plans, and initiatives to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities to target non-technical accounts for SaaS solutions, leveraging your expertise in this domain.
- Utilize sales analytics and Salesforce data to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales effectiveness.
- Partners with talent managers to hire new team members
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement sales enablement programs, tools, and resources to support the sales team’s success.
- Ensure the sales team is equipped with the proper product knowledge and sales training materials.
- Develop and refine the sales process, methodologies, and best practices to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall sales performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights to provide strategic guidance and recommendations.
Experience & Skills :
Required Experience and Qualifications :
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in sales, with at least 1-2 in sales management in the SaaS industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high performing sales team, driving them to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proven track record of success hiring and building out a new Sales Development team from scratch.
- Strong sales enablement experience, including the development and execution of sales strategies, processes, and tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, comfortable working with sales data and leveraging insights to drive sales performance improvements.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
