Experience :

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required from the last 2 years

Requirements :

75 miles from facility to be submitted.Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details :

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

The MedSurg Staffing Resource Team (SRT) will float between all MedSurg units as needed. Travelers will be working ED and PACU borders. In addition, Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage may be required.

Float units include –

1 East

1 West

2 West

2&3 East

3 West

4 West

5 West

ED

PACU

Previous Float experience HIGHLY PREFERRED.

Required Experience :

Chest tubes

Tubes

Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone

Lines / Tubes / drains for post-surgical patients

Trachs / Laryngectomies

Telemetry

Complex wounds

Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws

Maximum days off : 7 days

2 references from any number of months (Any reference type) - required for submission
