The Director, Finance Controlling serves as the strategic financial leader for the U.S. HUBs within the Express division, driving end-to-end financial planning, performance management, and operational transparency across the network. This role is accountable for strengthening cost discipline, optimizing productivity, and enabling data-driven decisions that support both near-term performance and long-term enterprise value creation. As a key member of the Finance Leadership Team and the Senior Management Teams (SMT) of CVG and ATL, the Director partners closely with senior operational and aviation stakeholders to shape financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives. The role oversees all budgeting and forecasting processes (Opex & Capex), ensures adherence to global reporting standards and internal controls, and provides clear, rigorous financial insights to enable high-quality executive decision-making. This position leads a team of at least three finance professionals and requires a leader with strong people development capabilities, a critical and analytical mindset, and the ability to influence at senior levels. The Director should also bring advanced digital finance expertiseincluding SQL, Power Automate, and process automationto modernize financial workflows and elevate analytical capabilities across the HUBs.

Executive-level analytical, strategic, and financial leadership, with the ability to diagnose complex issues, drive enterprise-wide insights, and shape long-term operational and financial strategies.
Mastery of digital finance tools and enterprise systems, including SAP, CREST, Kronos, advanced Excel (Power Query, automation), Power BI, Crest, and Kronos, enabling high-precision modeling, productivity engineering, and scalable financial processes.
Expertise in performance management and operational intelligence, including KPI architecture, predictive analytics, productivity modeling, and high-visibility executive dashboards that inform strategic decisions.
Superior executive communication and storytelling skills, capable of influencing SMT and senior stakeholders through clear, persuasive, and visually compelling presentations.
Proven leadership of cross-functional, multi-country initiatives, with the ability to align diverse operational and commercial teams toward strategic priorities and influence outcomes without direct authority.
High operational resilience and organizational agility, adept at leading teams through high-pressure environments, complex information flows, and fast-paced operational demands.
Trusted senior leader with strong judgment, integrity, and a collaborative mindset, committed to people development, cross-functional partnership, and stewardship of sensitive financial and operational information.
