Job Description

As a Unarmed Security Officer - Tech Site in New Braunfels, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring assigned areas and conducting routine patrols. Your visible presence and proactive approach will support a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors, providing assistance and information as required.
  • Document incidents and observations clearly and accurately according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns specific to the tech, media, or telecom environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
