Job Overview :

As a Mental Health Associate, you will function as a care partner with the Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to a diagnostically / developmentally specific patient population. Under the Registered Nurse's supervision, the MHA will provide therapeutic interventions and treatments. The MHA may be responsible for unit support activities and clerical / administrative functions as directed.

Qualifications : Required :

• BA / BS degree in a psychology related field
• Or 5 years of related experience in a psychiatric service setting
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• Must successfully complete Monmouth Medical Center clinical training orientation
• Annual BEST certification
