SharePoint PowerApps Developer

Washington, DC.

About the Role

We are seeking a SharePoint PowerApps Developer to design, develop, and deploy business applications using Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft 365 technologies and experience building custom apps, workflows, and automation solutions that enhance business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven apps) based on business needs.
Design and implement Power Automate workflows to automate approval processes, notifications, and data synchronization.
Work extensively with SharePoint Online to create lists, libraries, forms, and web parts.
Develop custom connectors to integrate PowerApps with external data sources such as Dataverse, SQL Server, REST APIs, Graph API, and Azure services.
Create Power BI dashboards and reports for data visualization and analytics.
Ensure best practices in security, permissions, and compliance within Microsoft 365 environments.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize PowerApps solutions for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Stay updated with the latest developments in the Power Platform and SharePoint ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in PowerApps development (Canvas & Model-driven apps).

Strong knowledge of Power Automate (Microsoft Flow), SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365.

Experience working with Dataverse, SQL Server, REST APIs, JSON, and Graph API.

Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell scripting for customizations.

Understanding of Power BI and ability to create reports and dashboards.

Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other Microsoft Cloud services (preferred).

Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Microsoft Power Platform certifications (preferred but not required).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Microsoft Teams app development and integration with PowerApps.

Understanding of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI Builder within Power Platform.

Previous experience working in GovTech, BFSI, Healthcare, or Manufacturing industries.
