SharePoint PowerApps Developer

Washington, DC.

Clearance : Must have an active Top Secret clearance.

About the Role

We are seeking a SharePoint PowerApps Developer to design, develop, and deploy business applications using Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft 365 technologies and experience building custom apps, workflows, and automation solutions that enhance business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven apps) based on business needs.
  • Design and implement Power Automate workflows to automate approval processes, notifications, and data synchronization.
  • Work extensively with SharePoint Online to create lists, libraries, forms, and web parts.
  • Develop custom connectors to integrate PowerApps with external data sources such as Dataverse, SQL Server, REST APIs, Graph API, and Azure services.
  • Create Power BI dashboards and reports for data visualization and analytics.
  • Ensure best practices in security, permissions, and compliance within Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize PowerApps solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in the Power Platform and SharePoint ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in PowerApps development (Canvas & Model-driven apps).
  • Strong knowledge of Power Automate (Microsoft Flow), SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience working with Dataverse, SQL Server, REST APIs, JSON, and Graph API.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell scripting for customizations.
  • Understanding of Power BI and ability to create reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other Microsoft Cloud services (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (preferred but not required).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Microsoft Teams app development and integration with PowerApps.
  • Understanding of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI Builder within Power Platform.
  • Previous experience working in GovTech, BFSI, Healthcare, or Manufacturing industries.
