We are looking for a Program Manager in our Global Specialty Insurance IT team that delivers, operates, and accountable for IT funded initiatives that will transform and secure the underlying Application functions and technical platforms that the global Munich Re Group operates on.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing a diverse range of projects within a related program. You will oversee and be accountable for delivering the agreed program scope in alignment with timeline and budget. You will also be responsible for partnering with business clients to understand and prioritize requirements, working with Shared Services PMO (Program Management Office) office to define and delivering best practices, delivery methodologies and the operating procedures, managing project roadmaps and resources. Success in this role requires the collaboration with business divisions, Global IT and 3rd party service and software providers to achieve the business and technology vision and objectives.

Your Job

• Run and manage multiple complex projects under the umbrella of a defined program and take responsibility for their delivery using formal program management techniques as appropriate
• Ensure that program executive sponsorship, governance, organizational structure, scope, objectives and success criteria are established
• Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders (Business / Product Owners, IT) to outline the program approach, sequencing of work and resourcing necessary to execute effectively
• Facilitate the business and product owner decisioning process, as necessary
• Establish and facilitate Program Steering Committee and Program Governance meetings as appropriate
• Manage project dependencies across and related to the program ensuring delivery alignment
• Drive delivery of projects within the program with predictable consistency and efficiency with focus on achieving expected results
• Manage program scope and ensure proper change governance is implemented
• Identify and manage program level issues / risks. Create actionable mitigation strategies that will increase delivery confidence and avoid delays that could adversely affect program success
• Actively manage program communications and relationships with program stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including the Executive Management
• Ensure proper governance to ensure included projects are delivered on time, meet the business & technical requirements, and delivered within the agreed budget
• Manage, monitor and report progress against milestones and budgets, ensuring consistent and transparent communications are provided to Management and Executive Leadership
• Manage program change management and training efforts to ensure operational impacts are minimized
• Assist with vendor (Systems Integrator, Software, other) relationship management
• Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to project managers, resource managers and product owners by building and motivating the team to meet project goals, adhering to their assigned responsibilities and project milestones
• Create and manage a program culture of transparency and accountability
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships and setting expectations with all stakeholders and act as the key point of contact for the project
• Any additional duties and responsibilities that may be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role

The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Princeton location.

The base salary range anticipated for this position is $141,800 - $190,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
