Job Description
Certification:
Sonographers (medical instrument technicians) must hold an RDMS certificate (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (in abdomen, breast and/or obstetrics & gynecology depending on the services provided).
American Heart Association BLS/CPR
Qualifications:
The Contractor is expected to provide experienced technologists, that have a minimum of three years of experience in exams performed.
Hours:
Mainly-Monday-Friday 7:30-1600; Occasional evening shifts 1600-MN; Occasional coverage at Rome Clinic; Eventually resuming on-call: Rotating between 4 Ultrasound Techs= 1week on call/month.
Job Description:
A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Certificate in abdomen, OB/GYN, and/or breast) depending on the services provided.
Experience performing ultrasound studies which include, but not limited to: Abdomen and retroperitoneum, small parts, gynecology, male pelvis, obstetrics,
vascular imaging
Experience performing vascular studies which include, but not limited to: Upper and lower extremity venous, Carotid, ankle brachial index (ABI)/Segmental Pressures, Aorta, Renal Artery, Lower Extremity Arterial, including stents and bypasses.
Phillips EPIQ 7 or EPIQ 5 experience preferred
Knowledge of digital Imaging and PACS.
The number of cases expected per day:
8-15
The exam listings are as follows:
Abdominal (GB , Liver, Renal, Pancreas, Spleen, Bladder
and any pelvic pathology).
