Fire Alarm Operator

In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Town of Seabrook and the Seabrook Firefighters Association and in accordance with the Personnel Policy for the Town of Seabrook, Section I, E. Promotion, applications are being accepted for the position of Fire Alarm Operator.

Minimum Requirements :

• U.S. Citizen
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED, a degree in communications is preferred
• Good physical condition, strength, and agility, and ability to pass a physical exam with town physician including a drug & alcohol test
• Experience in operating and communicating with two-way radios
• Courses in emergency medical dispatching, emergency services dispatching and incident command systems is a plus
• Command courses, ICS - 100, 200 and 700 and NIMS training
• Emergency Medical Responder certification, required within 1-year of employment

Salary : $20.60 per hour
