Product Specialist
We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our team in Farmingdale, NY. Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies in the United States. We operate in eight regions across the U.S. and have over 460 warehouse storefront locations.
Summary : The Product Specialist is responsible for assisting outside sales to grow sales and promote the company's products to potential customers. They must understand the features and benefits of the products, provide product knowledge, and address customer inquiries. The goal is to build strong relationships with customers and recommend the most suitable products to meet their needs.
What You'll Do :
- Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's products.
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
- Lead and support sales efforts with key targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Present proposals to leadership and technical audiences.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Participate in product meetings, seminars, and training schools.
- Assist branches and customers with product, technical support, and training.
- Analyze market potential, develop a business plan, and lead execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
