Key Responsibilities of the Travel CVOR Technologist

Prepare and maintain the CVOR suite and surgical instruments for procedures

Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular and thoracic operations

Ensure proper function of surgical and monitoring equipment

Monitor patients and document procedural details accurately

Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements of the Travel CVOR Technologist

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification (required)

BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

2+ years of experience in CVOR or cardiovascular surgical assistance

Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, patient safety, and operative procedures
