At QSCC, we source and ensure supply of products & services to Wendys restaurants all around the world. You cant serve a hot & juicy Baconator or perfectly salted fries without the right equipment to do it. Our Indirect Procurement team, who source essential items like building materials, signage, equipment, and facility-related services, is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join them. As a Coordinator on the Indirect Procurement team, you apply your analytical & problem-solving skills in the areas of production & lead time tracking, sourcing of restaurant supplies & services, and ensuring consistent supply of high-quality products to Wendys restaurants in North America. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate supplier data, optimizing pricing systems, coordinating marketing and franchisee engagement efforts, and supporting sourcing events & strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Working directly with supplier partners, maintain up to date information such as spend analytic data, sales dollars, and unit volume information. Collaborate with the Indirect Procurement team to explore and implement methods to optimize collection, maintenance, and reporting of the data.
  • Maintain a pricing system of record and supporting processes to ensure item, supplier, and pricing data is kept up-to-date in an accurate and timely manner. Participate in projects related to creating and updating these systems and processes.
  • Facilitate marketing efforts for indirect procurement team which includes maintaining buying guides, coordinating promotional email blasts and quarterly newsletter publication, managing contact database, and other franchisee outreach initiatives. Partner with the buyers to drive engagement with Franchisees and scale programs.
  • Assist indirect procurement team with various sourcing events and projects by conducting category research, coordinating NDA / MCAs, providing analytical support, and other support as required.
  • Administrative support of supplier scorecard program, enterprise risk management assessments, team sourcing calendar, organization of shared files, and other strategic initiatives as assigned. Tasks may include gathering data, updating systems, developing and / or implementing workflows to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities such as participating in learning & networking opportunities provided by company, attending supplier and cross-functional meetings as appropriate, participating in culture building events, and cultivating an individual development plan.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications in an ideal candidate :

  • Analytical thinking. Ability to break down problems, interpret data, and identify patterns to support informed decision-making. Comfortable using spreadsheets, reports, and basic tools to evaluate information and suggest practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Hands-on experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in a professional setting. Able to create and format documents, build spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables, develop presentations, and manage email communications and calendars efficiently. Able to leverage Office tools to support team collaboration, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or related tool a plus! Ability to interact with dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making. Able to navigate reports, apply filters and slicers, interpret visualizations, and export data for further analysis.
  • Enjoys collaborating across multiple projects and with various teams. Able to work independently and willing to seek out advice, input, and assistance to achieve tasks and goals.
  • Strong attention to detail. Ability to carefully follow instructions, review work for accuracy, and maintain organized records. Eager to learn and apply best practices to help prevent errors and contribute to smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Able to communicate with diverse workstyles, internal partners, and external partners. Able to adapt style to foster strong working relationships, enable smoother project execution, quicker problem resolution, and help create a cohesive work environment.

  • Eager to learn and to apply new experiences for both business and personal growth
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 1+ year working in a professional or office environment
  • Onsite expectation : 4 days per week. Onsite expectations may vary dependent upon business need.
