Field Crane Technician
Dallas, TX
Hourly Rate : $25.00-$45.00 (Depending on experience)
Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 Sign On Bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for a Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year
Responsibilities :
- Operates and inspects cranes to diagnose defects.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, & MEGA-TRACK system.
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
- Reads, understands, and interprets operating / parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
- Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
- Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
- Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Mechanic / Technician.Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and / or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required.Must have excellent communication skills with a customer / client focus.Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.Basic computer skills preferred.Benefits
