Linux Systems Engineer

A company is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to support their Data Center Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Support physical and virtual computing environments in a Linux-based data center

Administer and troubleshoot RedHat / CentOS / Rocky systems and manage Linux KVM virtualization

Investigate and resolve production issues, and develop Knowledge Base articles and Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in supporting physical and virtual network and computing environments in a Linux-based data center

Experience with MySQL administration, clustering, and replication

Proficient in writing and troubleshooting Perl, Python, or Linux Shell Scripts

Working knowledge of SAN systems, especially in a ZFS environment

4 Year Technical Degree or equivalent workplace experience
