Job description

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Description :

Start Date : 1 / 12 / 2026

Assignment Length : 16–32 weeks

Position : CVOR RN

  • Call and weekend rotation required
  • Possible float to Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus — flexibility required
  • Heart team is not closed
  • Schedule : Either 4x10s (0645–1715) or 3x12s (0645–1915)
  • Call : One to two weekday night calls (1900–0715) per 12 weeks and one full weekend of call every 5 weeks
  • Travelers must work 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)

    • Requirements :

  • BLS required; CNOR preferred
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Must have general OR experience
  • Experience in a large, teaching hospital required
  • Will consider RNs with slightly less than 2 years’ experience if from a similar large teaching facility
  • Circulate experience required; scrub experience preferred
  • Epic experience (within the past 2 years) required and non-negotiable
  • Must have solid knowledge in orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro

    • Additional Information :

  • IVS to offer
  • Schedule : Monday–Sunday
  • No block scheduling for any reason
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Monday — next available on 1 / 26
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history required (include bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)

    • Notes :

  • Public transportation not accessible ; reliable personal or rental vehicle required
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April
