Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island Referral & Emergency Hospital . The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager.

Our hospital offers 24 / 7 emergency and critical care and is equipped with state of the art monitoring equipment including but not limited to; wireless telemetry and capnography. Additionally, we have a full complement of diagnostic modalities which includes; multiple In-house laboratories, digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, LINAC, interventional radiology, MRI, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, minimally invasive surgery and arthroscopy. You would have the chance to work and collaborate with Board-Certified Surgeons, Internists, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Critical Care Veterinarians, Dermatologists, Dentists, Ophthalmologists, Neurologists, Cardiologists, Avian & Exotic Veterinarians, and Physical Rehabilitation Veterinarians.

This opportunity comes with a flexible schedule; a maximum of 3 shifts per week accompanying a 32 hour work week. We are currently offering a guaranteed base salary of $200,000 and an impressive sign on / retention bonus!
