What You'll Do Here :

• Installation and Setup : Install and configure new printing and bindery equipment. Ensure that all machines are calibrated and set up according to production requirements and specifications.
• Maintenance : Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on printing presses and bindery equipment, including stitching, folding, cutting, and other finishing machines. Adhere to a maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime and extend machine life.
• Repair : Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in both printing and bindery equipment. Utilize manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to effectively identify and resolve problems.
• Technical Support : Offer technical support and training to production staff on operating and troubleshooting printing and bindery equipment. Provide guidance on best practices and safety procedures.
• Parts Management : Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies for both printing and bindery equipment. Order parts as necessary and ensure effective storage and handling of components.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including service logs, parts used, and repair times. Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance issues, and improvements for management review.
• Process Improvement : Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for improving equipment efficiency and reducing downtime. Implement best practices and process improvements in equipment operation and maintenance.
• Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations for both printing and bindery operations. Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all equipment is used and maintained in a safe manner.
• Training : Train production operators on proper equipment use, maintenance procedures, and basic troubleshooting techniques for both print and bindery equipment.
