Job Title : Automation Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Factory Automation Technician where you will have the opportunity to work on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in a highly automated facility. With 25 openings across shifts, you will play a key role in installing new equipment and automated conveyor systems in state-of-the-art buildings. This position offers voluntary overtime and shift premiums, and requires frequent use of a laptop and communication device for team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Understand and monitor the PLC logics of the Factory Automation (FA) equipment in all processes using the specifications and inspection logic.
• Support engineers and direct manager in improving FA equipment and follow up on any issues.
• Troubleshoot issues in the FA equipment based on experiences from other sites.
• Review and update the layout of building #1 and #2 under the guidance of the direct manager.
• Collaborate with other teams and vendors to improve building layout and address any issues.

Work Environment

The work environment is within a large, meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit facility. Expect to do a lot of walking across buildings and plants. The facility emphasizes a strong 5S3K culture, and one of the departments requires wearing a garb and beard net, if applicable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $77792.00 / yr.

The company offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. They provide $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.
