Feed Administrator

Reports to : Director of Nutrition

STATUS : Exempt

POSITION OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSE : The SFI Feed Administrator is responsible for providing operational and analytical support for the company's nutrition programs. The role ensures formulation and pricing are executed accurately, efficiently and in alignment with the feed program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Feed Program Execution

• Maintain and update formulation databases, product codes, and ingredient databases across all mills and internal programs.
• Collaborate with Director of Nutrition to implement SFI feeding programs for farrow-to-finish production.
• Coordinate the rollout of ration updates and ingredient changes according to established timelines.
• Communicate formula changes to mills, receive confirmation, and review changes.

Ingredient Price Monitoring and Reporting

Feed Invoice Data Reporting

Work across accounting and feed ordering team to validate discrepancies.

Other Reporting and Feed Support Functions

Collaborate with feed, IT, and accounting teams to improve feed system data flows and reporting accuracy and efficiency.
