Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : Interventional Radiology Tech Location : Bronx, New York 10461 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days 5x8 hours (8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM) Job Summary : An interventional radiology technologist will assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Required Skills & Experience : Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting. Required Education : Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program. Certifications & Licensure : Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). Advanced-Level Certification from ARRT to include one of the following : ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology. ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology. ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology.
