Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Help prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits or financial reports
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards
• Support ad-hoc projects and reporting requests from the finance team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience; experience in a corporate or public accounting setting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with GAAP and standard accounting practices
