At Greentree Manor, a family-owned long-term care facility nestled in Waterford, CT, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Supervisor to help lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standard of resident care. $10,000 Sign-on Bonus\n\nPosition Summary : \n\nThe RN Supervisor is responsible for managing nursing staff, overseeing resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the Director of Nursing in coordinating all aspects of nursing services. This leadership role is pivotal in maintaining quality assurance and providing clinical guidance on every shift.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nAdministrative & Clinical Oversight\n

  • Oversee day-to-day nursing functions in compliance with federal and state regulations.\n
  • Supervise nursing personnel and ensure proper care, documentation, and staff assignments.\n
  • Coordinate with physicians, residents, and families regarding care plans and treatments.\n
  • Monitor medication passes, nursing interventions, and resident health status.\n
  • Complete documentation, reports, and evaluations as required.\n\nStaff Management\n
  • Assign nursing personnel to ensure proper coverage and resident care.\n
  • Provide leadership, training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.\n
  • Address staff concerns, absenteeism, and ensure policy compliance.\n\nQuality Assurance & Compliance\n
  • Participate in audits, surveys, and QA meetings.\n
  • Maintain and update nursing procedures and care policies.\n
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS and care plans.\n\nResident Advocacy\n
  • Promote resident rights and dignity in all aspects of care.\n
  • Respond promptly to concerns, grievances, and emergency situations.\n
  • Support family communication and resident satisfaction.\n\nEducation & Infection Control\n
  • Participate in staff training, in-service programs, and orientation.\n
  • Implement safety standards and infection control protocols.\n\nQualifications : \n
  • Current RN license in the State of Connecticut (unencumbered)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with supervisory experience in long-term care or a similar setting\n
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills\n
  • Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and regulatory compliance\n
