Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Infrastructure Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable applications and systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives in a specialized industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET technologies, cloud application development, and a commitment to accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership : Guide teams through hands-on development of code, integrations, data conversions, and other technical activities during each sprint.
  • Code Review : Provide peer reviews of development work completed by state staff or contractors on the product team.
  • Agile Collaboration : Update work items, raise blockers, and collaborate with scrum masters and contract staff to ensure smooth sprint execution.
  • Feature Development : Create and write detailed technical features and user stories to support the technical roadmap.
  • Backlog Management : Prioritize the ecosystem feature / user story backlog in alignment with project goals.
  • Accessibility Compliance : Ensure compliance with digital accessibility regulations by prioritizing accessibility in product design and development.
  • Sprint Coordination : Work with scrum masters to stay within sprint goals and participate in scrum ceremonies, providing and receiving regular feedback.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Technical Expertise : Proficient in Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, and web services.
  • Database Knowledge : Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and XML Schema.
  • Operating Systems : Familiarity with Windows 10 and previous versions.
  • Agile Methodologies : Experience in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
  • Accessibility Standards : Knowledge of digital accessibility regulations and best practices.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud Platforms : Experience with cloud application development and deployment.
  • API Development : Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Front-End Technologies : Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Security Training : Completion of information security training as per organizational requirements.
