The F119 sustainment contract is a performance based contract with the United States Air Force (USAF) that covers material, maintenance, tooling, tech data and engineering / technical support of the F119 engines that power the F-22 Raptor. This position works closely with EVMS, Military Engines Finance and USAF.

What You Will Do

  • L1 Budget Owner for Sustainment Labor CLIN(s)
  • Manage execution of the monthly EVMS business rhythm
  • Resolve issues with individual Control Account Managers
  • Support acquisition proposal and negotiation activities.
  • Potential to also have L1 responsibility for Spare Parts CLIN(s)
  • Monitor logistic program management spending to ensure budgets are met through the proper implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Support monthly financial meetings and Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) reviews.
  • Monitor for variances to cost trends and identify action plans to mitigate.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of project management experience or 7 years with an advance degree with project management experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems / tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
  • Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with contract proposals and negotiations
  • Familiar with earned value management
  • Able to work with other organizations such as; finance, aftermarket, contracts, pricing, and the USAF
  • The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
