Job Description

Are you seeking purpose, challenge, and talented colleagues? With a diverse portfolio of retail, hospitality, light industrial, healthcare, and worship, CESO has the opportunity for you to expand your career. We develop leaders and empower our associates to use their skills and talents to positively impact the world through service – to our coworkers, clients, and communities. We subscribe to the mission of “empowering our people to impact communities by bringing clients’ visions to life,” so if this speaks to you, let’s connect!

At CESO, an Architecture Team Lead brings advanced architectural expertise and leadership experience to oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of architectural construction documentation, specifications, and details across multiple complex projects. This position is responsible for managing production teams, setting priorities, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and company best practices. The Team Lead actively leads internal and external meetings, providing strategic input and technical guidance based on extensive experience, research, and industry knowledge. The Team Lead mentors and supports team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration, while also reviewing and approving architectural deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and consistency. • Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams, clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure project clarity, alignment, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Interpret and apply company, client, and jurisdictional requirements, standards and applicable codes to ensure all designs and documentation meet professional, legal and safety obligations.
  • Perform or coordinate site visits, field measurements, and construction observations to validate existing conditions and support construction administration.
  • Implement and uphold quality management processes, recommend design improvements, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
  • Lead meetings, document decisions, and clearly communicate project goals, updates, and changes to all relevant parties, including clients and senior leadership.
  • Supervising direct reports is a key responsibility of this job.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
