Skills and Knowledge :
Ability to read simple signs and follow basic oral instructions; move safely; lift and move light to medium-weight objects. Ability to operate simple tools and equipment such as powered equipment (e.g., golf carts).
Responsibility :
Performs tasks with specific instructions; decision-making is limited to simple choices. Supervision typically checks work for many tasks, but some tasks like trash pickup and cleaning golf carts and balls may not require supervision.
Physical Effort :
Requires light to moderate physical effort, including lifting and carrying objects weighing about 10-30 lbs., dragging hoses, and pushing carts. Occasionally lifts objects up to 45 lbs., and frequently walks, bends, stoops, and reaches.
Working Conditions :
Indoor work may involve drafts, noise, dust, dirt, and standing on concrete floors. Outdoor work conditions depend on Hawaii's weather; minor injuries such as bruises, cuts, and scrapes are possible.
