Arkansas Childrens, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist at the assistant / associate professor level in the Section of Pediatric Rheumatology.
Arkansas Children's is the only health care system in the state solely dedicated to caring for Arkansas' 850,000 children. The private, non-profit organization includes two pediatric hospitals with 361 licensed beds Arkansas Childrens Hospital (ACH) and Arkansas Childrens Northwest (ACNW).
The health system also is home to a pediatric research institute and USDA nutrition center, a philanthropic foundation, a nursery alliance, statewide clinics and many education and outreach programs all focused on fulfilling a promise to define and deliver unprecedented child health.

Join the experts at Arkansas Childrens Section of Pediatric Rheumatology in providing top-notch care for kids and teens in Arkansas and beyond who are dealing with rheumatologic disorders. We do this by offering cutting-edge clinical services, educating future doctors, staying active in research and advocating for children and their families.
We provide care in various ways, from inpatient consults to outpatient services at ACH and ACNW. We also offer infusion treatments and use telehealth to connect with families across the state. The Section receives approximately 900 patient referrals a year and treats children with a vast array of rheumatic conditions. ACH and ACNW utilize Epic for their electronic medical record system.
Faculty share in clinical, education and research responsibilities of the Section. They also develop clinical translational research programs in their areas of interest or are involved in the Sections active clinical trials program in additional to quality improvement initiatives. Section faculty also participate in student, resident and fellow education, as well as in mentorship of adult rheumatology fellows and junior faculty.
