About The Position

Must-Have :

• Experience with adults and geriatrics
• Experience with acute medical-surgical patients including CHF, infection, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker management, pneumonia, stroke, TIA, and seizures
• Familiarity with post-care for pacemaker and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Knowledge of various post-care procedures including thoracentesis, chest tubes, and management of cardiac and heparin drips

Description :

The role requires providing care to acute medical-surgical patients.

Candidates should have experience managing patients with conditions such as CHF, infections, cardiac catheterizations, pacemakers, pneumonia, strokes, TIA, and seizures.

Responsibilities include post-care for pacemaker and cardiac catheterization procedures.

Familiarity with a range of post-care procedures is essential.

Knowledge of thoracentesis, chest tube management, and administering various cardiac drips and heparin drips is expected.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with paternal dialysis, telemetry, and various pharmacological protocols.

A strong understanding of cardiac telemetry and the ability to manage patients with complex medical conditions is required.

Candidates should be proficient in accessing and managing central lines, blood product administration, and have experience with high flow nasal cannula and oxygen administration.

Experience with interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases is preferred.

The position involves working within an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services among others.
