Abacus Technology is seeking a Network Administrator to provide technical support for strategic network and information services at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

3+ years experience in a network administration or engineering role. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must be Security+ certified. CCNA certification a plus. Hands-on experience in design / configuration / installation of Cisco / Juniper routers and switches. Working knowledge of DHCP, NMS - SolarWinds Orion NPM / NCM, Cisco ISE, Wireshark etc. Strong working knowledge and excellent troubleshooting skills of Layer 3 and Layer 2 protocols in a VoIP environment. Working knowledge of IP address Management / DHCP / Syslog / DNS. Knowledge of Windows 2012 / 2016 and IIS is a plus. Familiarity with cabling (Fiber / CAT5E / CAT6). Knowledge of UPS. Proficient with network hardware and related software. Able to create and maintain operational procedures, topology maps using Visio. Strong customer service skills. Able to work with short timelines using latest networking technologies and provide excellent customer support for all network related services. Must be able to work outside normal business hours for planned projects or to respond to emergencies. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
