Job Title : Mammography Technologist

Location : Houston, TX

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks (Extendable)

Shift : 5x8-Hour Day Shifts | 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM

Weekly Pay : $3,076 (Gross)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist for a contract position at a leading healthcare facility in Houston, TX. The selected candidate will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Conduct breast biopsies and handle Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) localization procedures as required.

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout all imaging processes.

Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure accurate documentation in patient records.

Maintain and calibrate mammography equipment according to safety and quality control standards.

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal workflow and patient care.

Qualifications & Experience :

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist required.

Strong technical knowledge of digital mammography and related imaging systems.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Certifications Required :

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

ARRT (M) – Registered in Mammography (required).
