What you’ll do
Set up and operate Star CNC Swiss lathes to tight tolerance requirements.Perform offsets, tool changes, and in-process adjustments to maintain capability.Read and apply blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions to meet customer specs.Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators to verify features and GD&T.Carry out routine and daily preventive maintenance (P.M.).Complete first-piece inspection logs; maintain work orders and maintenance records.Adhere to quality procedures including part ID and traceability requirements.Work with engineering and quality to improve processes and reduce variation.Keep your area clean, safe, and organized following 5S.What you bring
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification welcome).At least 1 year reading blueprints.At least 1 year with GD&T and precision measurement (micrometers, calipers, gauges).Approximately 1 year CNC setup / operation preferred; we will train entry-level machinists.Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.Benefits and perks
