Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and mechanically inclined Repair Technician I to join our growing service team. This entry-level role focuses on diagnosing and repairing personal electric vehiclesincluding e-scooters, e-bikes, and hoverboards. The ideal candidate has a passion for troubleshooting, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on e-scooters, e-bikes, and hoverboards
- Replace or repair components such as batteries, motors, controllers, brakes, and wiring
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks
- Document repairs, parts used, and service outcomes in tracking systems
- Maintain a clean and organized workbench and adhere to safety protocols
- Collaborate with senior technicians and team leads to resolve complex issues
- Assist with inventory management of tools and replacement parts
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent requiredBasic mechanical or electrical repair experience preferredFamiliarity with tools such as multimeters, soldering irons, and hand toolsAbility to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and work in a standing position for extended periodsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailWillingness to learn and follow technical instructionsGood communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Skills (Optional)
