Job Opportunity : Neonatologist in Wichita, KS We are excited to announce a full-time position for a Neonatologist at a well-respected and established Neonatology practice in Wichita, Kansas. This opportunity offers a unique chance to join an evolving quality improvement team in a supportive environment. With a Level-III, 60-bed NICU and approximately 6,000 deliveries per year, this facility provides comprehensive care while promoting advanced medical practices and research through affiliation with the KU School of Medicine Wichita. Job Responsibilities : Provide full-time Neonatology care within an 8-physician practice at Wesley Medical Center. Participate in a combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule, approximately 170 hours of in-house coverage monthly. Manage in-house call and backup call from home. Care for neonates in a Level-III NICU with an annual average of 1,000 admissions. Support various services and collaborate with residents and nurse practitioners. Engage in quality improvement and research opportunities. Open to recent Fellowship graduates who are board certified in Pediatrics. Available support for J1 and H1B visa candidates. Qualifications : Board Certified in Pediatrics (REQUIRED). Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (REQUIRED). Kansas medical license (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED). Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start) (REQUIRED). Clean malpractice and license history (HIGHLY PREFERRED). DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start) (REQUIRED). License and Certification Requirements : Board Certification in Pediatrics. Board Eligibility or Certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Kansas medical license or willingness to obtain. Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
