Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic legal advisor for senior leaders and other internal stakeholders on the planning and development of business initiatives and objectives and interpretation of legal matters
- Negotiate, review and prepare a wide variety of agreements, including services agreements, supply agreements, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, and various other commercial agreements
- Collaborate across all functions to develop and update policies, practices and procedures
- Advise management and operating personnel of judicial and regulatory developments affecting potential legal exposures and compliance obligations of the company. Address potential compliance and legal issues to mitigate risks and recommend corrective actions as needed
- Manage relationships and consult with external stakeholders, including external legal counsel, regulators and business partners
- Appropriately assess risk on business matters, demonstrating consideration for safeguarding the company, its employees and assets
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to at least one state Bar in the United States
- Seven plus (7+) years of legal experience in a business law firm or in a corporate law department with a proven record of professional excellence and achievement
- Previous experience using Westlaw
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
