Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of recent OR experience and a current ID or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Operating Room (OR) within a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule from 06 : 30 to 17 : 00
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Typical surgical patient population in the OR
  • Candidates cannot be currently employed as a permanent staff member with the associated health system
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Must clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
  • Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius
  • Local candidates may be considered at a lower rate

    • Requirements

  • Active ID or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience
  • BLS certification required; no RCIS or RQI certifications accepted
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Full US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • All certifications must be current through at least the first 30 days of employment
