• Work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (must be indicated on submission form)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility / every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Patient ratios : 1 : 5-6 on days, 1 : 6-7 on nights (ratios not guaranteed)
• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• Required : Current RN License eligible for Missouri licensure, BLS from AHA only
• Preferred : ACLS from AHA only
• 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience required
• Work with Nova Meters for blood glucose, Alaris IV pump, Kangaroo pumps, SCD machine
• EMR system : EPIC
• Black scrubs required, no open-toed shoes
• Flu vaccination required November 1-April 1
• Care for Med / Surg patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
• Utilize nursing process for patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
