Regional HR Manager - Nursing Home, Assisted Living & Homecare
Facilities located throughout Brooklyn, Queens & Dutchess County, NY
Travel required ; largely remote
Starting Salary : $100K
Qualifications of the Regional HR Manager :
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources and Payroll in long-term care or assisted living
- Prior regional experience overseeing human resources and payroll for multiple nursing facilities strongly preferred
- Must have prior knowledge with payroll software, union contracts, negotiations and procedures, onboarding new employees, and payroll deductions
- Proficient knowledge of NYS labor laws and regulations and overall employee management.
- Must be willing to travel
- Excellent professionalism, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities of the Regional HR Manager :
Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure compliance.Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives to enhance employee relations, improve the work environment, and boost morale.Partner with leadership to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies that support them.Oversee union contracts, negotiations and procedures, onboarding new employees, payroll deductions, etc.Handle employee relations issues, including performance issues and disciplinary actions.Pay site visits to check into all the facilities on-site managers#J-18808-Ljbffr
