Some evenings may be required based on agency or client needs.\n\nPay Range : $70,000 - 75,000 / year\n\nJob SummaryCommunity Counseling Center (CCC) is seeking a Nurse Supervisor with an RN to lead our psychiatric nursing team in Cape Girardeau, MO. This role involves overseeing medication injection clinics, providing education on psychotropic medications, and supervising nurses and medical staff to ensure exceptional care for outpatient and residential clients. As a key liaison between medical staff and administration, you'll collaborate with the Medical Director and Clinical Director to uphold CCC's mission of delivering empathetic, client-centered mental health services. Ideal candidates are Registered Nurses (RNs) with psychiatric nursing experience and strong leadership skills.\n\nEssential FunctionsMedication Clinic Coordination : \nOrganize and lead medication injection clinics, ensuring efficient delivery of care to clients.\n\nClient and Staff Education : \nProvide education to clients, families, and clinicians on medication usage, side effects, and adverse reactions to support informed care.\n\nConsultation and Collaboration : \nOffer consultation to CCC's residential facilities and outpatient programs, working closely with clinical teams to address client needs.\n\nStaff Supervision : \nSupervise nurses, medical office aids, and adult residential nursing staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies and providing training and feedback to meet performance expectations.\n\nInventory and Compliance : \nManage medication storage and inventory, maintain First Aid Kits, and administer PPD tests for employees, adhering to DMH, CARF, and agency standards.\n\nLiaison and Communication : \nAct as a bridge between medical staff and administration, meeting regularly with the Clinical Director to align with CCC's vision and mission.\n\nDocumentation : \nMaintain accurate records in accordance with clinical policies, DMH, CARF, and other federal or state program standards.\nQualifications\n

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Missouri license\n
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric or mental health nursing experience\n
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications, psychopathology, and counseling methods\n
