Job Summary:

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse, is responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team. Their duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient’s medical history, and assisting patients with hygiene.

LPN Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay starting at $30/hr (Compensation is variable and depends on the type of shift/visit, day of the week and complexity of care provided.)

• Employment is PRN.

• Competitive Pay

• We offer medical, dental and vision benefits through Cigna if you maintain FT hours (32+/wk)

• we offer 8-12 hr shifts, 1 hr nursing visits and 1 hr medication management visits.

LPN Responsibilities:

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members

• Accurately monitor and track and document clients’ overall health and medical history during every visit

• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.

• Change bandages, wound dressings, and catheters, among other related healthcare tasks

• Administer medications according to the Medication record

• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises

• Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed

LPN Requirements:

• 2+ years’ nursing experience preferred

• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification

• Current LPN license in GA

• Access to reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently and with directions

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
