Responsibilities :
- The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to support the efficient production of the company products
 - This role plays a critical part in conceptualizing and implementing new tools, fixtures, and methods, while ensuring product quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards
 - The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to support new product introduction, continuous improvement initiatives, and equipment sourcing or qualification
 - The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive operational excellence across the manufacturing floor
 - Conceptualize new processes, equipment, tools, and fixtures for the manufacturing of the company products
 - Source, test, and qualify production equipment
 - Plan, coordinate, and execute activities in support of project goals
 - Evaluate manufacturing processes for energy use, material waste, and environmental impact
 - Drive cost-reduction initiatives through design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and process optimization
 - Analyze process data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement
 - Performs troubleshooting of equipment and tools
 - Works with suppliers to resolve design / production issues of supplied materials or equipment
 - Act as a technical liaison between engineering, operations, quality, sales, and supply chain
 - Creates operational and manufacturing engineering presentations and reports
 - Mentor junior engineers and help build technical depth within the team
 - Participates in coaching and training of production operators and associated production staff
 
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in a mechanical, industrial, or similar relevant engineering field
Knowledge of value stream mapping, 5S, root cause analysis, and DMAIC problem-solvingProficient in designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD)Experience creating, validating, and refining manufacturing processes (including routings, process flow diagrams, etc.)Ability to assess and document risks in new or existing processesKnowledge of statistical techniques and design of experimentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSkilled with computers and Microsoft ecosystem including Office products and TeamsExperience with digital CMMSUnderstanding of Lean ManufacturingExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skillsRegularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, and stoop repeatedlyPhysically able to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum on a regular basisFrequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, electrical, chemicals, and moving partsProlonged use of computer screenJob Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Coppell, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 / hr.
