Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or GED 4 years avionics / electrical experience OR 2 years aviation electronics schooling + 2 years experience A&P license preferred FCC certification preferred NCATT certification preferred Ability to read / interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals Ability to repair and troubleshoot wiring and components Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to climb stairs / ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 lbs Preferred proficiency in additional aircraft systems (hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, etc.) Perform operational testing and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics / electrical systems Install and functionally test electrical and avionics components per engineering specifications Repair or replace defective wiring and components using approved splicing, soldering, and pinning techniques Execute engineering changes, modifications, and functional checks Set up and operate required test equipment and evaluate system performance Document all work accurately and ensure readiness for inspection Maintain test equipment, comply with FOD, tool control, 5S, and all safety protocols Adapt to changing schedules and support additional duties as needed May participate in aircraft certification and final phase flight tests
