Director of Water Resources - Hydrology & Hydraulics

Job Description

Our client, a well-established civil & environmental engineering firm , is seeking a PE-licensed Practice Leader to lead their Austin, TX water resources and hydrology / hydraulics practice . This senior role offers the opportunity to oversee complex projects, provide technical leadership, and drive strategic growth .

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee all aspects of water resources projects , providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders .
• Prepare proposals, client agreements, and monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables with PMs and senior staff.
• Oversee technical and professional development of engineers and support personnel.
• Participate in developing company design and production standards , efficiency initiatives, and innovation strategies.
• Engage in professional associations and civic organizations .

Salary Range : $190K-$215K (DOE)
