Warehouse Lead

Shift : 7 : 00 AM-3 : 30 PM Hourly Rate : $25.25 an hour Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our 1st shift team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Schedule : 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm | You will need to be available for possible weekend work

Starting Pay : $25.25 / hour | Your wage will increase over time!

Essential duties :

• Manage warehouse employees on shift
• Provide knowledge, experience, and support to team members
• Encourage team effort and supportive attitudes among employees
• Ensure that team members follow Good Manufacturing Practices and are supplied with protective gear including safety glasses, gloves, hair / beard nets, and proper clothing
• Ensure that team members adhere to safety procedures
• Report unsafe conditions or actions
• Train employees
• Fill in for all warehouse positions and supervisor during absences
• Assist in shipping, picking, and receiving jobs
• Maintain Shipping and Receiving schedules including setting appointments with outside warehouses and transportation company
• Use SAP
• Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the quality of service and increase the safety and efficiency of operations
• Work in a cold environment, 0 degrees
• Handle shift startup and shift turnover meetings, with daily reporting responsibilities on production status
• Overseeing cleaning standards at the site and ensuring warehouse is kept food safe and communicating any maintenance need of facility

Experience : Food manufacturing experience Must have forklift experience

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required
