The A. Ray Olpin University Union provides a multitude of programs and services for the campus and surrounding community. The Union is looking for candidates to support that mission by assisting with maintenance and cleaning in the Union building. This role will also be responsible for setting up and taking down events as needed. Please note that this position is temporary and the tenure will last 6 months. The start date will begin in November and end May 31, 2026.

The A. Ray Olpin University Union is part of Student Affairs. Student Affairs is comprised of over 20 departments and is focused on supporting student well-being and success with the ultimate goal of assisting students in discovering their passion, people, and purpose. Responsibilities :

• Clean offices, restrooms, and concourse areas using vacuums, buffers, mops, scrubbers, chemicals, cleaners, etc.
• Prepares meeting spaces for daily events, which may include planning, set-up, and takedown.
• Sets up chairs, tables, and other equipment or supplies as needed for events.
• Provides incidental services related to events, such as garbage removal or cleaning.
• May be responsible for unloading equipment or supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
