Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with entry-level office experience who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic accounting environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting both accounts receivable and payable functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately
• Prepare invoice deduction notices as needed
• Audit invoices for accuracy
• Respond to customer inquiries professionally
• Assist with account analysis and monthly closings
• Review purchase orders, delivery slips, and invoices for accuracy
• Verify, stamp, and file accounting documents
• Retrieve and deliver inter-office communications
• Investigate delinquent accounts and missing payments
• Enter and update customer data in accounting systems
• Sort and prepare outgoing mail
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies
• Answer incoming calls and take customer messages
• Support accounts payable tasks as needed
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.50 / hr.
