Quality Control Technician (Grand Rivers)

Thalle is currently seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to fill a Concrete Quality Control Technician position on a 6 Year, $375M (+) USACE Lock and Dam project located on scenic Kentucky Lake in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. This is a full-time on-site position reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager to perform quality control inspection and product review tasks to support the site Quality Control Team. This role will interact with a variety of staff at all levels and uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Title : Concrete Quality Control Technician

Salary : Competitive compensation package based on experience.

Overview :

The Concrete Quality Control Technician is responsible for full inspection of products and installation to ensure compliance with the contract plans and specifications. This position reports to, collaborates with, and follows the direction of the Quality Control Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Inspect work during construction and during final inspection to ensure compliance with the contract documents.
• Provide inspection for surface preparation, concrete testing data, formwork, misc. metals, reinforcing bar, water stop, concrete finish and curing operations.
• Review installation plans and materials to ensure compliance with the contract document.
• Prepare daily field inspection reports.
• Report deficiencies to the project Quality Control and Operations Teams.
