    The Position

    The National Account Manager (NAM) plays a key role in driving growth and strengthening relationships with some of PCNA’s largest and most strategic customers. Managing a select portfolio of three to five major accounts, the NAM leads the planning and execution of strategies that align with customer goals and PCNA’s broader business objectives. This includes achieving sales targets, expanding relationships across multiple locations, and ensuring that every interaction reflects PCNA’s commitment to exceptional service and partnership. The NAM represents the full range of PCNA’s products and decoration services, serving as the primary point of contact at the headquarters and key buying locations of assigned customers. They work closely with Field Sales Managers, internal Account Managers, and cross-functional partners to coordinate efforts, streamline communication, and deliver consistent value across all touchpoints. Success in this role requires a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability — driving results through collaboration, high standards, and a shared commitment to PCNA’s success.

    Job Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned customer accounts at both the management and account executive levels.
  • Coordinate the involvement of internal partners — including Field Sales, Support Services, and Management — to meet account performance objectives and exceed customer expectations.
  • Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within designated accounts.
  • Lead a joint company–strategic account planning process to define mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and key milestones for one- and three-year horizons.
  • Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs to ensure alignment with PCNA’s capabilities and strategic goals.
  • Drive solution development efforts that best address customer requirements, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment across all relevant teams.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities within assigned accounts, distinguishing high-value investments from those with limited return potential.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend trade shows or customer events to strengthen relationships, showcase capabilities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Accountability and Performance Measures :

  • Achieves assigned sales quotas within designated national accounts.
  • Meets established expectations for account profitability.
  • Delivers on strategic customer objectives as defined by company management.
  • Develops and maintains strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.

  • Technical Proficiency : Strong computer skills with practical experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; comfortable learning new systems and tools.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of field sales experience in a business-to-business environment required
  • Prior promotional products industry experience highly preferred
  • A minimum of 50% travel is required
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Residency Requirements

    Must be located in one of the following states : California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, or Utah.
